Marte an Bergh\u00e4ngen in der Sierra Paila. Hier auf schr\u00e4g abfallenden kalkigen Felsplatten. Dazwischen gelbe Grasb\u00fcschel mit denen eine perfekte Mimese eingegangen wird\u00a0H\u00f6he \u00fc.d.Meer: 1320 &#8211; 1540 Meter.<br>Pflanzenk\u00f6rper:  Pflanzen bis zu 25 cm H\u00f6he bei einem  Durchmesser von bis zu 12 cm. Der Habitus ist nudal und im oberen Teil mit  goldgelben Dornen umsponnen. Diese sind weich und trotzdem stechend.<br>Beflockung: keine. Selten mit einzelnen gro\u00dfen Wollflocken behaftet.<br>Bl\u00fcte: Dottergelb mit kr\u00e4ftig rotem Schlund.
