Interessant ist die Tatsache, dass die Pflanzen auch in der Ebene anzutreffen sind und dort zu stattlichen Exemplaren herangewachsen sind  H\u00f6he \u00fc.d.Meer: 1300 &#8211; 1350 Meter.<br>Pflanzenk\u00f6rper:  Exemplare bis 40 cm. Die K\u00f6rper sind dicht mit weichen Dornen umsponnen und erinnern mit ihrem Habitus an trockene Grasb\u00fcschel die hier \u00fcberall wachsen.<br>Beflockung: keine<br>Bl\u00fcte: Dottergelb mit kr\u00e4ftig rotem Schlund wobei das Rot im Schlund teilweise reduziert werden kann.
